Considering NJ DDD Goods & Services?
Some community offerings may be considered for an individual request. A service name or a website statement does not establish eligibility. Your support coordinator must review the specific request, assessed need, plan documentation, available alternatives and applicable DDD requirements.
Goods & Services vendors must primarily serve the general public. Required Division approval and an approved ISP must be in place before funded services begin. Vendor enrollment and billing requirements with the appropriate fiscal intermediary must also be confirmed.
Community classes have specific criteria
A class request is reviewed against DDD requirements, including a documented assessed need; general-public attendance or a general-public vendor in an open, integrated setting; participation and weekly-hour limits; applicable skill-development criteria; and prior approval. The service description and delivery must match the actual class offered.
A careful path from inquiry to service
- Discuss the specific service and assessed need with your support coordinator.
- Confirm the required documentation, funding decision and approved ISP.
- Receive the coordinator-issued Service Detail Report and verify the authorized details.
- Confirm vendor enrollment and the fiscal intermediary’s payment process before starting.
